AtomVM supports GenServer, maps, JSON, Erlang distribution, and via Popcorn - Phoenix LiveView on a microcontroller. No OS, a few hundred kilobytes of RAM.
5,000 production units shipped. First batch had a 5–10% return rate. After significant software investigation, the root cause was mechanical. Paul also added SMP support as a weekend project; the team had to rewrite their drivers as a result.
