Reminds me of a long, long thread on a programming forum where someone was complaining about “bugs” in the platform’s floating-point software. And it turned out that, as you might expect, he was utterly clueless about rounding issues. But worse, he was developing accounting software. And was unable to understand what he was being told by people trying to help. The thread ended with “please tells us the name of the product you’re working on, so we can be sure that none of our clients ever use it.”
