I have personally not. Just going to guess that Discord are using these because they are growing and they need to start nickel-and-diming all their hosting costs.
They have done amazing things for the Elixir community. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they go full Rust soon – although I think it’s going to be extremely hard to duplicate the BEAM’s responsiveness in any other language but hey, who knows.
