It seems like the SQLite adapter does not handle query values at the moment. It is turning it into a query parameter. No problem. The issue with plain insert is that it expects values so it can perform validation prior to persisting to the database.

@joey_the_snake thank you so much for your help! I’ll reach out to them. In the meantime, I guess I’ll just go with opening a transaction, then querying the value I want from the DB, and them inserting the new record.
