One mention – the code coverage has decreased for me. The defstruct declarations are all red. Is that because of the new type system?
UPDATE:
Here’s what I’ve observed. For a struct like so:
defmodule Person do
destruct name: nil, age: nil
end
in v1.16
This would have covered it:
p = %Person{name: "Joe Doe"}
assert p.name == "Joe Doe"
in v1.17
Now you have to pattern match to cover the defstruct declaration.
p = %Person{name: "Joe Doe"}
assert %Person{name: "Joe Doe"} = p
