I think when experimenting with elixir-desktop a few years ago I found running the BEAM on iOS used excessive battery. I’m not sure if that is a problem anymore but I assume for your native purpose you can’t somehow use Popcorn/AtomVM and compile everything to wasm then bridge to native? I will say I’ve compiled and profiled GitHub - u9g/uno-royale · GitHub which runs LiveView fully offline on device (through a Swift webview) and it works great with minimal battery impact. I know the full BEAM is not implemented but enough of it is to enable this app to work great.
