Fly’s CEO posted this recently - Turn And Face The Strange · The Fly Blog
It says that Fly is going all-in on sprites, which is a worry for me. Our small team uses Heroku + AWS + Fly across various apps, but Fly was our platform of choice for current and future hosting. (We do not want to lean further into AWS / self managed, we want to pay more for a PaaS that handles some of it for us).
I’ve reached out to our support contact there, but got a generic response “Rest assured, our machines product isn’t going anywhere”. Given the CEO’s blog post about the opposite, I’m not that assured!
There are lots of folks here with closer information, does anyone have any extra info they can share?
