José first asked everyone on the mailing list to check out the forum around April last year, then a few months later deprecated the mailing list in favour of the forum 
The Phoenix Talk mailing list was officially deprecated in favour of the phoenix-forum in July
It’s possible it linked to an old mailing list thread or was referring to the language discussions mailing list? The language discussion mailing list and the Phoenix Core mailing lists are still active.
