Seeking Mentorship Thread

As the community grows we’re bound to see more posting ‘seeking mentorship’ type threads - so lets create a thread dedicated to the topic so that we can get all the basic info we need from the get go. If you are interested in helping someone feel free to PM them directly :icon_biggrin:

If you are seeking mentorship please make a post in this thread using the following as a template:

Your location:
Your timezone:
Your background: (include your programming experience)
Your Elixir experience: (include which books/courses you have read/done)
What you are looking for: (be as specific as you can and include what kind of mentoring you think you will need)
Whether you can pay: (omit this if you can’t or don’t want to)

Please try to get all the necessary info into your post. Please also don’t be disappointed if you don’t receive any offers - remember that most regulars on this forum already do a huge amount of mentoring by answering threads here and 1:1 mentoring may not be the most efficient use of their time (you may actually want to post any specific questions you have on the forum yourself, as this could not only get you the help you need, but your threads could go on to help lots of other people too).

If you are seeking in-person mentorship or would like to network with people in your area then you may want to go to a local meet-up or conference. Have a look at our meet-ups section to see if there’s one near you: Events/Confs/Meet Ups > Events List

If there is anyone out there who can help me with gaining more experience by collaborating together on an elixir project it doesn’t matter if it’s for an application and or website, Something that we can do together as I am a beginner at this. I have watched enough courses and I do have a good understanding as to how I should be doing this as a programmer and I just need experience.
