# Using CouchDB

Hi,

In case anybody wanted to work with CouchDB from Elixir and wondered why there is no Elixir package for that (there are, too young & incompatible or too inactive ones); there is an awesome CouchDB Erlang client named [couchbeam](https://github.com/benoitc/couchbeam).

Good news is it’s available as a [hex package](https://hex.pm/packages/couchbeam) too!
