Hi kartheek, apologies but if i understood you correctly, you are saying change the statement to:

  validates(:withdrawal, presence: [message: "expected"], 
  by: [function: &Test.test/2(&1, Map.get(&2, :funds_balance)), 
  message: "invalid withdrawal."])

Adding the arity operator to the function &Test.test does not help.
