I started working on PaperForge because I wanted PDF generation in Elixir to feel more native, reliable, and self-contained. I did not want applications to depend on browsers, external rendering services, or platform-specific tools just to create professional documents.

I enjoy learning through ambitious projects and turning that learning into open-source tools others can explore, use, and improve.
